A great way to spend time with family on Hawaii

This is the second time this year we booked a vacation rental in Waikoloa and we fell in love with the units and the area. Our unit was in perfect condition, very clean and wondeerful amenities which included a Bose Sound system that was amazing and we really enjoyed. I was there with three little boys, aged 6, 7, and 9 and they had so much room to play and enjoy their stay.

The pool was just across from this unit and is a real bonus. The view from the unit is breathtaking with views of the mountain and golf course. The unit itself had a lot of beach toys and Phillipa and Kelli were amazing, arranging to get an X-Box for the kids and arranged t ohave 2 bikes for us there. They just made sure that we had everything we neeeded and made our stay perfect. We will never stay in a hotel again when in Hawaii!

Luxurious Waikoloa Condo!

We've rented many condos on our trips to Hawaii, but this one was the best! Great location to Hapuna Beach, Dolphin Quest, eating and shopping. the condo is beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean. I will definitely recommend to friends.

Kid Friendly!!

We really enjoyed ur stay at L3. It was very comfortable and very kid-friendly. The owners had kids toys for th pool, condo, and puzzles and books. My 2 kids (ages 5 and 3) were thrilled! Lots of room for kids to play just off the paio in a grassy area, and the pool is a very short distance from the condo. The pool was wonderful - we stayed there most of the time!

Shawn and Andrea's vacation home in the Waikoloa Beach Villas was a great choice for our Big Island Hawaiian vacation! Near the Hilton and Marriott Resorts, we loved the advantage of staying on the Waikoloa resort grounds. We discovered the white, sandy beach close to the resort. We walked to shopping and restaurants, which offered lots of choices in fine dining, take away meals and fast food. Plus, there was a Starbucks nearby where we stopped for our morning coffee.

This penthouse condo had great views of the golf course, lake and mountans. When entering the unit, we were impressed with the beautifully decorated, upscale furnishings.

The master bedrooms' king sized bed was probably the most comfortable I've slept on while on vacation! The air conditioning made the unit very comfortable on the warmer Hawaiian days, but we kept cool most of the time by keeping the windows open to enjoy the refreshing cross breeze. The wireless Internet kept us connected throughout the unit and also on the large private lanai. When "eating in", we loved the full gourmet kitchen with all the necessities, especially the lanai and outdoor grill/cooking area.

We enjoyed the inviting pool and hot tub in the middle of the garden-like setting. When venturing out to the beaches, we were glad that the owners provided beach towels, snorkeling gear, and beach chairs (the stuff that's a necessity on any beach outing). Hotels wouldn't have provided these items and we liked having the conveniences of beach gear at our fingertips.

Property owners, Andrea and Shawn were great to work with and had a staff of managers available to us on-site if there was anything we needed. This is truly a wonderful vacation spot!

A Very Enjoyable Stay

We very much enjoyed our stay at our unit. It was very spacious and very nicely setup. The loft space where the futon sofa-bed was located was a perfect place for our kids to stay. They had their own private space to play and sleep. We had a balcony that overlooked the pool area which was easy to access. Groceries, shops, gas station all nearby. No hassles from vacation timeshare staff at all. A truly enjoyable stay!

Ironman 70.3 Hawaii Weekend

We stayed in this beautiful condo with another couple for the weekend of the Ironman 70.3 Hawaii. It was very spacious, comfortable and great to have a fully-stocked kitchen...a much better (and less expensive) alternative to a hotel. It was also very convenient for race-related activities. We would definitely stay again! We had three athletes with bikes, and for that it would have been great to have access to the garage but this didn't prove to be too much of an inconvenience.

Wonderful, relaxing, quiet holiday rental

We thoroughly enjoyed unit I3 in the Waikoloa Beach Villas. The villa was excellent! The gourmet kitchen was a delight to use; the outdoor bar-b-que/kitchen on the lanai was a treat, the views to the golf course delightful.

The master suite was large with a very comfortable king size bed and lavish bathroom. It was helpful to have a washer and dryer as well, although there was an ample supply of towels, sheets, pillows etc supplied with the flat.

The electronic appliances (WiFi, Plasma TV's, CD player) all performed magnificentally, and blessedly the A/C was highly efficient. And having the Queen Market/King Market within walking distance made for a wonderful place to shop, including a gourmet food market.

All in all a quiet and thoroughly relaxing holiday in fabulous surroundings.

AND the agent, Kelli Horton, that we worked with was truly accommodating, helpful and efficient. We recommend this to anyone.

Wonderful Time!

The property and its location in Waikoloa was perfect. We were in short walking distance to two great shopping centers and a little longer stroll to the beach. As regular visitors to the Big Island, our party of four and infant found the location perfect. We fly in via Hilo, which is about a 1 hour 40 minute drive, but much more scenic and a far nicer airport than Kona.

Waimea, a 30 minute drive up the mountain was enchanting as well. The property location by the pool and the ammenities couldn't be better. Perfect place with Julia providing excellent assistance. We will be back.

Fabulous Stay at Waikoloa Beach Villas!

On Resortica:

We had a fabulous stay, and were so pleased with the level of service from Resortica. Whenever I had questions, they were quick to respond - always with very helpful information and resources! Traveling with toddler twins, and being 7+ months pregnant is not for the faint-hearted, and all the gals at Resortica were extremely patient and understanding about my 100 questions.

On Waikoloa Beach Villas, Unit D-23: It was perfectly equipped for the 5 of us. We brought our nanny, who used the loft as her bedroom, and then we split up the two bedrooms downstairs for the kids and my husband and me. Great kitchen, very nice living area (with a few removals of non-toddler friendly decor), very handy to have baby gates, great outdoor deck with grill and seating. So convenient to the pool and the King's and Queen's Shops.

We absolutely recommend using Resortica, and the Waikoloa Beach Villas!

Our only complaint - the weather was just mediocre - but we can't blame anyone for that!

Best Birthday Ever!

Can't believe the week is over. I had a fantastic time down their even though it was just down the street. My birthday was on Sat the 28th and we went golfing and then had some friends over for BBQ nobody bothered us it was great. We went to the Journey concert and had a little pre party and nobody bothered us again. Fantastic I think I'll be back in July!!

Great vacation time at Waikoloa Beach Villas A2 with two small children (6months and 2 years)

We will try to stay at the same condo again if we go back to Hawaii. The furniture and amenities are simple but practical and new. Only one standard TV and no game console but who is going to Hawaii for staying inside?

The gated pool (important with small kids) is only 30m - through the grass - away and the BBQ on the lanai allows the children to run around while you prepare the food. Only negative is that with open windows you hear the by-pass road in the morning which is 50m away behind bushes/small grass wall.

Resortica had everything ready when we arrived, checked once whether everything was fine and helped us to find a wonderful doctor when we need one for our daughter - sometimes they were hard to reach but called back fast, we really appreciated their very efficient way.

Rental car is definitely recommended.

Best condo we've ever stayed in...

We stayed here in March of 09. The accommodations were perfect for our larger group. We had 4 kids aged 2 through 8 and also grandparents along to help out. The kitchen chairs are basically tall stools so kept a close eye on our 2 y.o. when he sat on them. The arcade style game system in the loft was the biggest hit with the kids. They never even touched the PS3 and PS2 game consoles during our weeklong stay.

The beach gear in the garage was very handy. We made use of the beach chairs, mats, boogie boards, ice chest and snorkeling gear. They also have a couple mountain bikes available but we didn't use them during our trip.

The beds were very comfy and the decor was in very good taste. The place was very roomy and we never felt crowded at all. The computer and printer also came in handy to check on e-mails and print out boarding passes.

Julia and Kelli from Resortica Hawaii were a great help. The common grill was out of propane and since the complex were temporarily without any managers, she arranged for someone to deliver a propane tank to us so we could BBQ that evening.

The location of the unit is right across the street from both the Kings shops and the Queen's Marketplace. The gourmet store and food court in the Queen's marketplace were very convenient to walk to. If you're in the mood for noodles, I recommend the Chinese food place in the food court over the Noodle House. The shaved ice from the deli was also a big hit with the kids and adults alike. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful spacious condo ... a lovely home away from home ... the morning sunlight welcomed making breakfast in the large kitchen, while the afternoon sun was perfect for suntanning on the patio! Our view of the golfcourse was restful and the area very quiet. Nice to have a garage also. The location is very convenient to shopping, beaches, restaurants and sightseeing. Really appreciated Kim and Julia accommodating all our questions and requests -- they definitely wanted our stay to be the best-ever! Much Aloha and Mahalo!

The property has a great location with a beautiful oceanfront site. The furnishings are all first class. The home has everything you need. The master bedroom and bath are very nice and spacious. The bed very comfortable with flat screen t.v.'s in all the rooms. We liked the location with just a short walk to the Hilton for restaurants, shops etc. The pool and restaurant at Hali i Kai are very nice. We hope to go back again next year and I would recommend staying here. It was better than I expected and loved the views and watching the whales. The kitchen is fully equipped with all high-end appliances and just gorgeous. Thank you for a great experience.

A Very Nice Location and Condo

"We enjoyed our stay at the condo very much. The master bed is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. Renting through Resortica was a great experience, and I will be booking my next holiday rental through them. We were traveling in a larger group and rented 3 separate condos in the same complex. They were all very similar, and everyone thought it they were great. I would recommend this property and complex to anyone.

Big Island at its BEST!

"Enjoyed great tours and beaches. Our favourite beach was Hapuna (boogied and saw the whales frolic) all for free.
This unit was clean and felt like home. I would recommend to all my friends.
Wonderful friendly Islanders.
The Queens and King Court shopping centres were great and had a Ukulele contest. We golfed at Waikoloa Beach and Waikoloa Village courses. We had our 46th anniversary there and can't wait to return."

"This immaculate, well equipped, one year old condominium style residence was enjoyable in every way. From the great top floor view from the lanai of the golf course and mountains, to the little added touches (sand toys for kids) it was complete in every way. The concierge who greeted us on our arrival was friendly, very knowledgeable and offered lots of good information. Comfortable Villa for Family of 8

"We traveled here with 2 adults, 3 seniors, 6, 4 and 18 month old. Conveniently located across from the King and Queen Shoppes...you could see Starbucks from the property! Plus for us. A Bay Beach was a 2 minute car ride and the Hilton maybe 3 minutes. Clean, next to the pool and very well stocked from kitchen supplies, pool goodies and even things for babies! We got in super late and the manager even offered to pick up a few things at the grocery store for us. Amazing customer service!

Only negative, we could never figure out the AC...they said something about the windows/doors having sensors on them and that they had to be well closed before the AC would kick in; we closed everything but couldn't get the AC to work ...we finally got it to work, then it was freezing upstairs (apparantly it's typical in Hawaii to have only AC upstairs) and comfortable downstairs...turned the temp back up then way too hot...couldn't find that happy medium before our trip was over.

And though toddler gates were provided, we had a tough time jimmying the gates with luggage and such to keep our littlest off the stairs. If you have kids that you are trying to keep off stairs, this may be a concern.

We would definitely stay here again though...just need to figure out the AC unit.

"We would definitely stay in this property again. It was in a great location of the complex, right by the pool, and right next to shopping at Queen's Court and King's Shops. The complex is brand new and beautifully landscaped. The unit was immaculate and decorated like a model home. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook in most nights. "We loved our stay at Waikoloa Beach Villas. The unit was amazing and it was a treat to have it stocked with boogie boards. It was our first time to the big island, so there was a bit of an adjustment in regards to having to get in the car to drive to the beach. We quickly got over it, as we discovered Hapuna Beach, and it was well worth the 12 minute drive! "

"We came in for 4 nights. The place was Great!, Roomy and in very nice condition. Close to the Pool, Kings and Queens shops as well as the A bay. We had a great time both swimming and the 5 min walk to the A bay was well worth the sunsets that we enjoyed. The Marriott was a nice place that is close to visit for daily activities as well like renting boats etc.

We cooked at the condo the entire time and really enjoyed the Lanai w/BBQ. Also, there is a loft that really helped out w/sleeping for our kids. Thanx again, You all were great help in selecting this place and I will see you next year!!!"

"This is very nice condo with panoramic views in an excellent location. They provide all the conforms of home with tropical decor. The outdoor grill is a plus for cooking great meals. The only downside to the unit were the neighbors next door. They were very unfriendly and played loud music every afternoon, which made it difficult to enjoy paradise here."

Golf Villas--A Quality Location

This golf villa is a 3 bedroom town home style condo located between two holes on the Mauna Lani South course. From both the patio and the 2nd floor lanai, you can see a nice view of both a green and a tee box. Unfortunately, the closest golf course amenity is a restroom, which is right in front of the unit. But it wasn't particularly intrusive to the enjoyment of the unit.

The 3 bedroom units are on the ends of the buildings and have the better views. The units are relatively new, so all the inside furnishings, appliances, etc are very nice, high-end in quality, and in excellent condition.

The place is also very spacious, and can easily accommodate the guests without feeling crowded. The only negative about this unit was that the owner only placed one lamp with a small wattage bulb to light both the dining room and the main living area--a fairly large space. Since we weren't using the other bedrooms, we brought all of their lamps into the main area so that, after dark, we could read in the main room, or even eat at the table.

According to the list of amenities, the unit provides access to the beach club, which is on a very nice swimming and snorkeling beach nearby. But the access card to that club wasn't in the unit. Since we were there to play golf it didn't bother us, but you should check with the manager to get that card. We did have access to a nice common pool area. The rental agent was very helpful on a short notice rental, and even upgraded us for free--and was VERY responsive in the whole rental process. Compared to the cost of other condos in the area, rented say, through the hotels, this was an excellent value.

The condo could use just minor touch up, such as the number of cooking pots made for a large group as the condo sleeps 12, we had 10.
